As badly as I want to see Steele gone, I am more interested in who will replace him. If it is another typical bland RINO with the same problems as Newt and McCain, I don’t see a change as being much of a benefit.

You are mistaken about Newt.
The problem with him is not that he’s a RINO, it is that he is a Republican. He is very much a man of the traditional partisan system. That is why he supported Scozzafava. Because she was the Republican.
He will always support the Republican establishment candidate.

I agree. Steele should have stepped down long ago because of failures in leadership, but not because of his comments regarding Afghanistan.

It is sad the GOP relies on MSM momentum to force Steele off his post. It is a cowardly organization that fears the criticism of racism, and is using this bogus opportunity to gang up on Steele. The bastards should be defending him now!
