Muslims asked to vacation in Turkey after Israeli boycott

Loss of about $400 million from canceled Israeli reservations.

Muslims are being encouraged to vacation in Turkey this summer to offset the estimated $ 4 0 0 million l o s s caused by Israelis boycotting the country as relations between the countries deteriorate.

A number of Muslim scholars and leaders issued a statement on June 17 praising Turkey’s position regarding Israel and welcoming Ankara’s efforts to “lift the siege on Gaza and the Palestinian people.” It called on Arabs and Muslims to show support for Turkey by boosting economic ties.

The statement called on “families and groups planning to travel to Europe, the US or elsewhere, to choose Turkey – where mosques and historic monuments of ancient and natural beauty exist – as a vacation destination instead.”

Muslims get to vacation? Isn’t that kinda ‘western’ behavior? Do they blow themselves up after returning?

“Boycotting the county”? It sounds more like “I really really wanted to spend my money there, but they’ve left quite clear that I’m not welcome”. I keep on pointing out, Israel isn’t the one losing big on this flotilla fiasco.

Ataturk drug Turkey into the 20th century and Edrogan is dragging it back into the dark ages.

According to the interpretations of bible prophecy by many evangelical bible scholars, Russia, Turkey, Iran, Egypt, Sudan, Syria, and several other Muslim nations, will attempt to invade Israel at some point in the last few years before Jesus Christ returns to rule as Israel's divine Messiah. But Israel will be supernaturally protected, and the attacking forces will be destroyed by weapons that seem to fit the description of nuclear bombs. The prophet mentions seeing a vision of what he describes as tall clouds shaped like trees (perhaps palm trees with slender trunks topped by drooping fronds, get the picture?) rising over the retreating armies of the attackers. This was probably a vision of mushroom clouds rising over nuclear explosions among the retreating armies.

If America turns it's back on Israel, as Obama is now doing, the unprecedented power and prosperity that has been America's reward for it's support for God's chosen people over the last 63 years will disappear, and we will become a 2nd or even 3rd rank world power both militarily and economically, (Genesis 12:v3). Obama is not AntiChrist, he doesn't fit the biblical description. But he may well be AntiChrist's forerunner, and will support his claim to absolute authority over the nations of the world. When the real Antichrist is revealed and takes command of the western nations (perhaps including America) he will at first feign friendship and support for Israel. But he will betray her after 3-1/2 years of relative peace and begin a persecution of the Jewish people worse than Hitler's holocaust. After another 3-1/2 years Christ will return and utterly destroy AntiChrist's armies. He will then take His rightful place on the Throne of David and rule over the entire world from His capitol city Jerusalem for 1000 years of worldwide peace and prosperity.

Fighting Israel to drive her out of her promised land is tantamount to fighting God. His solemn promises to Israel's forefather Abraham that under the authority of Israel's Messiah his descendants would eventually rule the world for a peaceful millennium were unconditional and eternally valid. And unlike the promises of men and nations He will keep His word to the very last jot and tittle.

I may have misstated some of the prophecy teachers' theories about end time events, but if so it was not intentional. I don't necessarily agree with everything that every prophecy scholar teaches, but IMHO their general outline of prophesied future events is probably correct in many of the most important points.

Many non-married muslim men I’ve met all say the same thing. They all want to vacation in Lebannon because of the women. They claim they are by far the hottest of the middle-east.

I was in Turkey a month or so ago and was struck by how many Israelis were there vacationing. In fact, something like 75 percent of Turkey’s tourism comes from Israel, so them playing this game with Israel is going to cost them a fortune.

The stupidity of religious fanatics — particularly the farm-animal Muslim — never ceases to amaze me.
