My son's and my husband always said squirrel is good eating. When they camp and hunt during bow and arrow season, small game license gives them lots of squirrel...just don't try eating a porcupine, they don't taste good and are full of fat.. Camp rules were whatever you killed you had to eat, one year one of the young guys got a porky, they never shot another one...hubby went into town that night, called me and said he was having steak....he didn't shoot the darn thing....
