Virginia here. Damn things are thick as flies, aggressive and crap everywhere. We could 'euthanize' millions of them and still have too many.
My heart goes out to animals, up to the point where I'm hip-deep in a species that does nothing constructive and makes a problem of itself. We actually have commercial services for scaring them away here.

All the government has to do is put a bounty on them, they would disappear fast...My dad had an old saying about disgusting things that we would run across......That goes throught you like shit throught a Christmas goose...I had 4 geese, good watch dogs but crap more than 4 dogs would...
Here in Michigan, every pond you see has canadian geese hanging around....yuk...
