High Fructose Corn Syrup is manufactured with the use of yeast — a type of mold.

I'm not sure if what you say is true (it could be - I just don't know), but yeast is most definitely NOT a mold. It is a fungus.

BOTH yeast and mold are fungus.

So, put it this way, fungus is required to manufacture High Fructose Corn Syrup.
