Whatever happened to the "scandal" re: the White House offering Sestak a job to drop out of the Primary against Arlen Specter. Has it been dropped?

Re: The "Thug Factor" in Philly and the "Fraud Machine".

The good news is, this is an off-year election and B. Hussein Obama is NOT on the ballot; so, the Crack Houses and the HO Houses will not empty out on Election Day like they did in '08. It will go on being business as usual. That's good for our team.

Sadly, I have to agree with your statements.

Anyone believing a damn thing will change in nov is delusional. The gop has no plan, has no direction, has no real leadership, and is not up to the task, as sad as that is.

If you are going to just post negativity, FR is not the place for you.

This is a place for optimists who do not let the enemy demoralize us into defeat.

Uhhh, mind posting for me what I said that was negative? You do realize Sestak is the Democrat and Toomey the Republican, right?? But mind telling me what I said that was negative or demoralizing?? You may have responded to the wrong person, but I’m at a loss here....

Toomey takes PA.. Sestak won the primary with the ANYBODY BUT ARLEN vote.. no such vote will support him in the General. Fauxbama cement shoes are going to sink even the most moderate Democrats this year.. and Sestak is anything but moderate.

Short of Toomey absolutely screwing the pooch, he’s PA’s next Senator, and Corbett is the next Governor.

My post was not directed at you. It was aimed generally at the multitude who always see fraud, corruption and influence "stealing" elections. I should have been more clear.

Ahhh, gotcha. And I agree with you. With the possible exception of Franken's seat in Minnesota, there's been little evidence of any election that's been stolen. And in the case of Minnesota it was largely through unfair court rulings that ignored the Supreme Court precedent of Bush v. Gore and allowed differing vote recount standards for differing counties that Franken was possibly handed a win by the court rather than by the actual vote tallies. There's been no evidence to date that ACORN or any other group has monkeyed with enough votes to turn an election outcome. People who keep putting forward this idea that all elections are pointless because the elections will just be stolen anyway are corroding our democracy and ensuring Democrats do win more elections by keeping conservatives at home.
