“Unexpectantly”

Dear Lord you think they’d get a clue that this constant “unexpectedness” is a real old joke.

Meanwhile Obamer is overseas exhorting the Europeans to hop on board, keep spending.....give it time, it’ll work.

Folks, this is not Economics that we don’t get out here in la-la land. We all have a certain amount of money coming in and a certain amount that has to go out. We get that you can’t keep having more going out that’s coming in.

And yet the Dems keep up the spending mantra like we was all born at night, LAST night.

As for my opinion as a very NON-economic scholar but as a member of this fine forum which allows us to express opinions even if we aren’t experts on the subject of said opinions, I think this economy is in good shape.

Of course I must qualify.

The economy periodically goes on a downturn and by me this is a normal turn of events. There was the dot-com bust, the Enron et al thing, now this housing downturn. Cause greed will get us all from time to time and we will overdue it. This housing thing...giving mortgages to folks, well folks a lot like Obamer himself who believe in spending more than you bring in waaaaaaay beyond prudent, well that was dumb.

The economy will begin a slow trek upward, this as a new way to bring in tons of money....right now Obamer’s trying to sell “green” technology to investors and since we all were NOT born last night we know that such as windmills and lightbulbs that take ten minutes to come on are not yet ready for primetime.

Investors aren’t buying that scam, concurrent with global warming and we know this is a scam, plus the tax issues which, of course the gubmint must spend money so we must raise taxes. Add the health care debacle and on and on and hey, businesses aren’t going to expand. Everyone’s holding on to the purse strings and with good reason.

Mostly we’re waiting for 2012 for OBamer to take a hike, so long, nice try, we gave you a chance....or maybe, if we’re lucky, 2010, when enough of those jokers are swept out of office that they don’t have harming majorities.

Meanwhile, let us pray Obamer doesn’t damage this country too much.

Another item to note: None of the jobs created with Stimulus money are covered by unemployment insurance. Once those jobs end, those people go straight to poverty.
