As an armchair strategist who probably has a sounder apprehension of Civil War strategy than of 21st century Intercontinental or, more accurately, intra-galactic strategy, I nevertheless venture that this development comes at a time when Obama is unilaterally relinquishing America's military advantage in space.

It seems to me that control of space will take the place of Admiral Mahon's control of the seas as the decisive factor in military strategy. Is this why Obama is surrendering it to the Chinese?
