Minneapolis is one of four contenders vying to host the 2012 Democratic political convention expected to nominate President Obama for a second term.

I guess “co-hosting” only works when PR Rybak’s ego is too bruised when Saint Paul gets a major event and Minneapolis is left sipping lattes and cherry wine. MPLS wants to muscle in on some of the attention every time STP gets a major event.
And Mayor Coleman (Not the good mayor that was our fine senator, the wimpy one) plays along like a patsy. I hope the DNC screws PR Rybak and MPLS.
