".. with Republicans seeking to take the moral high ground." And... that's where they raised the 'white flag' and were killed!

It’s because they have no balls.

...is it just me; or does she look like Lou Costello?...assuming of course, that you’re old enough to remember.
To: dr_who
Because Senate Republicans are still limp, impotent, panty waist metrosexuals afraid of a confrontation with the 0bama. After all this. Dear God our country is DOOMED.

“...the Supreme Court is a wondrous institution....” it is when you can fantasize what the Constitution means, otherwise it’s not supposed to be an “activist” court as every effin’ liberal has used it to pass legislation that wouldn’t make it through Congress given Supreme Court judges are not elected by the people. I’m nauseous listening to this woman lie through her teeth, much less looking at her. Another nitwit on the supreme court, joining the most recent previous nitwit to be approved for sitting on the bench, whatever that supposed “wise” latina’s name is. What a joke. When I’m done vomiting, maybe the Republicans will be back in control and actually act like Republicans for a change, but I’m not holding my breath.

The Republicans do this to cater to the non-existent “moderates”, which are an invention of the Democrats.

...is it just me; or does she look like Lou Costello?Sorry, it's just you. Mr. Costello was much thinner, and had a much nicer personality, too.

Its because they have no balls. You are correct!
It's time for we, the people, to fry that capital switchboard again. Vote NO on Kagan or face the consequences in November.

The Supreme Court is a wondrous institution, Ms. Kagan said in her opening statement. But the time I spent in the other branches of government remind me that it must also be a modest one properly deferential to the decisions of the American people and their elected representatives. She is following the scheme used by 0bama: pretending to be a moderate, while her entire record, like 0's, is that of a revolutionary seeking to destroy our cultural traditions and the Constitution. But most Pubbies don't believe in that heritage either, so we will be stuck with another Marxist revolutionary on the court for as long as she lives.

So the Republicans are so principled that they don’t want to “Bork” Kagan?
Just tell the truth! Bork was a law abiding man of good character who was worthy to be on the Court.
Kagan does not quality in any way to be on the Court.
