No. He committed no prosecutable offense other than poor judgement and therefore was not prosecuted nor punished under the UCMJ. Therefore, he keeps his grade and attendant retirement pay.

I certainly don’t agree with his judgement of keeping some like the rag reporter from the Rolling Stone around him and his staff but then again, from what I’ve read McChystal was a little left of center.... he also voted for Obama.
