It is sad that the Obamanists have even less regard for the rule of law than some of the pro-military letter writers referenced by the author. And if America has become excessively politicized, who can we thank for that?

Methinks the public needs to read the Declaration of Independence.

someone should ask... why did mccrystal have an interview with rolling stone in the first place?

everything I have read about the man shows him to be no nonsense with a solid ‘get it done’ attitude. why woukd this man take time away from the war to do an interview with such a magazine? it just doesn’t make sense.

and if he didn’t schedule the interview myself... then who has the authority to order him to Paris and to give the interview?

smells like a political setup. question is, by whom and why?

“Those defenses left me with the unhappy conclusion that the disuniting of America is surging ahead at a heart-stopping pace.”

Really? Imagine that.

Add the suicide of that Gulf Coast fisherman, the fear and depression/anxiety of every Gulf Coast resident...not to mention the rest of the country — the delay in doing anything about the oil spill, refusal to ask/accept offers of help from 26 countries — (let’s not waste any emergency in the march toward communism!) Oil industry be damned! Jobs lost, lives ruined while Zero goes golfing. And what do we see? Evidence of Wm. Ayres’ comment that they’d probably have to ‘eliminate’ 36 million Americans once they take over. Someone else quoted 25 million, but that’s irrelevant. What we see is evil incarnate in the White House.

And evidently it’s going to get worse, much worse. Our beloved leader (should that be in capitals?) said yesterday that we’d better (in essence, sit down and shut up), because he’s going to hit us where it really hurts in January. What can he be hinting at? VAT? Cap and trade? Energy bills skyrocketing, including the price of gas. Elderly choosing between heat and light or food. Forget meds, they won’t be able to afford them. And death panels will lower the elderly population, anyway. The elderly, middle class beating a path to food banks and the Salvation Army on a regular basis. Oh, and control of the internet, end of free speech. Our beloved leader has plans for us. Big plans.

Some years ago I read on FreeRepublic that the “Bill of RIghts is not a suicide pact...” In that same vein, we cannot allow “one side” of this polarization to ignore the contraints of the Constitution while we sit in it’s handcuffs and let them destroy our country. I am sorry to say it, but I still believe that the military still has to “choose a side”. WIllit continue to protect the politicians at the expense of the people or will it ultimatley “turn” and insist on reinstituting The Constitution.
