Now that the story has gone viral, I wonder if he regrets inventing the internet.

Actually, he wasn't lying.

Back when DARPA needed high speed connection between military and private technical sources (Universities, etc.) they established some of the principal methodology for such 'connections'. blah,blah,blah... things expand, as they always do, TYMNET, TELENET, blah,blah,blah, backbones, major routes, packets, packet-swtiching, servers, underground servers, encrypted-isolated servers, blah,blah,blah .

Back in the initial stages of this, Al Gore was at a meeting where the funding was being approved for these projects and Knet Knusson knocked appeared at the door. Al looked up and said, ENTER KNETT.

Well, you know the rest of the story.
