Heard this morning that the dems are trying to cut out the electoral college by getting 11 of the most populous states to change their statutes to say that they will cast their electoral votes in accordance with the majority of the country’s vote (not their own state’s votes). That will equal 271 votes. It means that the small and rural states will essentially be cut out.

I can’t see Texas going along with this, and Ohio, Pennsylvania, and Florida would also be problematic.

Methinks when that happens, it will be right before the first shots are fired in what will be CWII.

Meanwhile, while we are reading comments about how the GOP or conservatives in general are going to take back Congress this fall, we are seeing an amazing display of socialist legislation passing and being enacted into law. As such, it becomes less possible to turn the ship of state back around till no earlier than 2013, if at all.
