"South of the Border," down demagogue way, filmmaker Oliver Stone traveled to get warm and fuzzy with such leftist sweethearts as Hugo Chavez (Venezuela), Raul Castro (Cuba) and Evo Morales (Bolivia).
The verdict? Consult a fan site on Justin Bieber. Change all the chatter about "nice, full lips" to lovestruck awe for "thundering denunciations of the IMF." You'll get the picture. ..

Hugo Chavez is one leader Oliver Stone fawns over. As for Stone's interviewing technique, he says things like (to Chavez), "I've never seen such energy -- never!" and "It seems to me from the few days I've been with you that you have developed a very thick skin." Oprah would have been tougher on these guys.

Given that Chavez's government is currently holding 20 to 30 political prisoners and this spring arrested the owner of a TV network for "comments offensive to the president," he and Stone have little standing when it comes to journalistic standards. Human rights? Stone derides them as "a new buzzphrase, much as 'freedom' was during the Soviet era."
Chavez, whose first attempt at leading Venezuela came during a coup, more or less sums up Stone's alarming form of sweet talk when he says, "This is a revolution, like I said. Peaceful. But armed."

Oliver Stone is a useful idiot.
Stone is an agitator and once the ‘revolution’ is complete and a dictatorship has been born, the purges begin within agitators like lawyers and film makers being among the first eliminated.
If there’s one thing that’s certain, it’s that nutjobs like Stone will never live in those countries under the leftist lunatics he idolizes. Here’s a filthy rich, capitalist filmmaker lionizing Marxist cretins who would eagerly take every last penny Stone has accumulated with his worthless films. I guess reality is not Stone’s forte.
They would never live the life of an ordinary person under communism or socialism, so from their lofty perch at the left hand of the dictator, they think the systems are just fine. Of course, they assume they will be allowed to keep their personal wealth, mansions, private jets etc.
And as long as they are propaganda tools of the dictators, they are right.
Hugo Chavez, Raul Castro, Evo Morales and Oliver Stone.
Marxists all.
Now stooges, like Stone and Penn, want us to believe that nuts like Chavez and Morales will bring heaven on earth for their respective countries. Nowhere in mainstream media are fools like Stone and Penn castigated for their friendships with the Marxist nuts they pal around with.
