Did owing soros money and being part of soros’ open borders society get him the votes he needed? Ever wonder where he scored his big “comeback” stash? Pretty telling that McCain will fight harder for the AZ Senate Seat he currently has employment under against a real Conservative than that he fought for President of the United States against a Marxist!?
So McCain wrote the campaign finance laws that he ran under. The ones he forced Bush to sign even though Bush promised to VETO the bill. He trotted out his 2000 Presidential campaign's national co-chairman Fred Thompson to run and syphon off votes from the Huckster and clinched the nomination...even though every conservative from Rush to FR was supporting any body but McCain. In the end all the talking heads and 90% of FR supported McCain/Palin after the convention and McCain almost won.
If it hadn't been for the October suprise financial melt down I think McCain would be President.

mccain was never going to be president. The only reason he even had a long shot was Sarah Palin. When his numbers shot up after picking Palin, he was freaking terrified that he might win.
This election and its outcome were set in stone before the primaries ever took place.
