Hard to call them dumbasses when we are walking down the same path. I hope Obama is teaching enough of the country such a lesson in the value of the American way, by showing us the alternative, that we turn back to it . . . but the Reagan reaction to Carter and the Watergate freshman class just led to Bush, Bush, Dole, Bush, Bush, and McCain as our “conservative” candidates for President, and the Gingrich congress morphed into the free spending jackasses of the Bush years.
