Let me play Devil’s Advocate here, FRiend... if one person or a group of individuals (think militia) attempted to overthrow the government in DC by force, the full brunt of America’s military, Secret Service, FBI, CIA, DC Local Police, State Police, and armed security would obliterate that armed force and those who survive would be put on trial and executed for treason. If anyone is willing to band together to fight tyranny, they’re signing their own death warrant. We would have to have wholesale buy-in from every gun owner and patriot in the country to even begin to get DC quaking in their boots. The defensive infrastructure in place in this country is such that the ordinary citizen in a militia would be completely overwhelmed with any attempt at a coup.

If the States were to muster their militias and order war on DC, I could see some progress being made, but we’ve been conditioned to believe that the Fed is our daddy and they will provide and protect us. No one has the balls to take on Big Guv, and we’re going to be relegated to Roman status sooner rather than later.
