I think so long as you don't buy the farm while still in the OR, the surgeon describes it as "successful".
God bless him during this time.
He was a rambling man too much in his earlier years.
More likely he contracted from a groupie.
Cirossis is a disqualifying condition for eligibility to be placed on a donor list, AFAIK.
I have heard varying stories with respect to how he contracted the HepC. In his case, I would guess injectable drugs, but there's probably no way to know for sure, so they don't generally disqualify for that condition.
Sure, we know him as David Crosby. But, to Melissa Ethridge's children, he's known as anonymous sperm donor.
And they could jam rock too. They put today’s kiddie bands to shame.
Run, Bambi, Run. Laurencia Bembenek — that’s a name from the past and a surprise to be on this list, but she’s led a tumultuous life. I used to see her hanging out at the bar at a local, upscale restaurant. The last I heard of her was when she sued somebody (police, I think?) because she jumped out of a window in San Francisco and had to have her foot amputated. Lot of drama in that girl’s life.
Speedy recovery....Always loved him and the Bros.
how is hep c related to boozing
“Jessica” & “Tied to the whipping post”
Nothing can kill Keith Richards.
here’s hoping that Greg Allman isn’t tied to the Whipping Post of a lengthy recovery.
They were one of the very few bands which sounded as good or better live as they sounded on their recordings.
Whipping Post...
They will need an EPA permit to bury THAT guy!
Come on now, Clapton’s not living off the past? He just toured with Winwood, for pete’s sake. Blind Faith was almost exactly 40 years ago.
Just before that, he played shows with Baker & Bruce.
Just before that, he made an album of cover tunes with BB King.
His career revival in the 90s was thanks entirely to a song he wrote in 1970.
In the late 80s he remade “After Midnight”.
He’s a great player but he’s not exactly cranking out fresh new material.

While I loved Dicky
I can’t tell you how many highway miles I traveled listening to this one.

Get well Gregg, we all have pasts that we’d like to change. Impossible of course.
G-d speed your recovery!
