My neighbor’s son is going to be a senior in high school this year. He has expressed a desire to become a Marine after graduation. Both his mother and father have told him absolutely not- but perhaps he could look into PLC after he goes to a college for at least a couple of years- but NOT in the near future.
Dad is an ODS veteran with a dozen years in USMC. Mom was a longtime USN reservist.

My son joined the service after his first year of college....wanted to get it under his belt, and then returned to college for his degree. Never regretted the break away from school ....it would be hard for me to support him going overseas now with the restrictions placed on ur soldiers. I am so angry about that. I wouldn’t blame an parent who objected with how things are under obama.
