That's where I was headed. NASA has an excellent handle on orbital mechanics. It plays into the interactions required to send a vehicle to a desired objective over a long time frame.
Amazing. That really takes the cake. Have to hit the rack in about ten minutes. Tommorow will be a 5AM shift for me.
Two different issues with respect to water levels. When the glaciers on land melt, the sea level rises due to increased amounts of liquid water. When we enter an Ice Age, sea levels fall due to less amounts of liquid water. The second issue relates to this posted article. Sea levels also change due to the temperature of the water. Warmer water has more volume. Colder water has less volume. So colder surface water will result in lower sea levels.
I’ll have to ask my weather guy at work about this.
Not correct.
La Niña Is Not The Opposite Of El Niño The Videos
La Nina occurs because there is a large difference in the atmospheric pressure of the west and east tropical Pacific. Trade winds increase and cool the surface water, and they cause cold water upwelling in the eastern Pacific (Americas) and they force solar warmed water in the tropical Pacific to the Western Pacific (Philippines and Australia). When El Nino occurs there is a small difference in the atmospheric pressures in the eastern and western Pacific. So trade winds weaken. This cause tropical surface water to warm and stay warmed. The water then gives up heat to the atmosphere which sends moisture to the Eastern Pacific (America). You are just looking at atmospheric pressure cycles that greatly affect the atmosphere and ocean interface. This interface contains pathways for solar energy. Shallow surface water is the short term pathway. Deep ocean water is the long term pathway. During an El Nino, less solar ocean heat is transferred to the deep ocean and more solar ocean heat is transferred to the atmosphere. During a La Nina, more solar ocean heat is transferred to the deep ocean, less solar ocean heat is transferred to the atmosphere.
At any rate, the solar cycle is back to an average sunspot number less then 25 for the past 3 months. So we have still been cooling overall and this winter will be worse then last winter.

“OMG, the oceans are receding.”
All of this the result of Al Gore’s 2nd Chakra not getting “activated.”
