The media and DNC BOTH knew more about the “Foleygate” story than the GOP did and sat on it. Then when they unleashed it as an October Suprise, they insinuated he was a child molestor (he had not touched anyone) and claimed that the RNC knew and did nothing whereas the media and DNC BOTH chose to “do nothing” with even more information in hand (until it was politically adventageous).
The subsequent Congressional investigation revealed this.

The media has been silent over the horrors at Abu Ghraib while Saddam was in charge and are silent over the horrors there now that the Iraqis are in charge.
