The messiah has become human. Oh woe is me, says Salon. These self proclaimed arbiters of fair play and justice just can’t stand the idea that the “race card” has been cancelled. Too bad that the retailer destroying the Mr. Skittles race card is none other than a once trusted and valued redoubt of BDS. It really must suck to be a europeeing socialist these days.

A lot of young white liberals in NYC are disillusioned with the Kenyan and starting to make cracks about him. One I heard yesterday after the “fly incident”:

“I thought he was from Kenya, not Ethiopia.”

It’s his job to preach to the choir & that’s what he’s doing.

There is a lot of truth in that, but it's not the whole truth.

I think Sarah Palin in a prime recent example of how comedy is used to sway the audience. At the 2008 GOP convention, Sarah came out looking good. She was strong. She was smart. She was popular. Then she hit a bump in the road with an interview with Katy Couric. Fortunately, no one watches Katy Couric, so the interview didn't get a lot of viewers --

But then, Tina Fey and others started making fun of Palin's answers. They weren't exactly preaching to the choir. To a large extent, the choir thought Palin was an interesting politician. The comedians changed that and convinced a lot of people that she was the dumbest human on the planet.

If Jon Stewart and others start making fun of Obama, it might help Hillary more than it helps Republicans, but the net effect will certainly be the end of Obama.

“from embittered Bush-era liberal outsider to Obama bobby-soxer to betrayed and disillusioned realist.”

Bi-polar much, Stewart?

FReepers are getting smarter.

At one time they would have been all excited that Stewart was "going after Obama".

Now they know that he goes with the wind and will change to attack a Repub instead in a heartbeat if Obama is really threatened.

Here is the clip.

Quality leaves a little to be desired but funny as hell never the less:

6 minutes but, what you want to see comes in the first 1.5 minutes.

I’m amazed at how many liberals actually think that jokes Tina Fey makes are quotes from Sarah Palin. I have explained to her over and over that Palin did not say “I can see Russia from my house.”

"pants load"

Exactly. The scribbler of this article is as full of it as Stewart. When libs get mad at Obama, it's because he wasn't socialist enough in whatever action he took. Cretins commenting on other cretins.

Love taps in a non-election year.

Stewart will gussy up his Obama love when the boss's job is on the line.

“Unfortunately, too many young Americans get their political knowledge from this nasty and narrow minded goofus”

You hit the nail on the head there. I have a number of younger cousins (in their 20s and early 30s) and they honestly consider watching The Daily Show as getting their news for the day. It’s absolutely frightening.

In addition to believing that what is said on the show is actually true, they completely lack any understanding of state and local issues as a result. Case in point, one of my young cousins, who is a teacher mind you, didn’t even know we were having an election a few weeks ago. He came by to visit on election day and when I asked him if he’d voted yet, he admitted he didn’t know about the primaries. I was shocked, and very saddened. This is not only what’s happening with our younger generations, but even with our teachers!

"The segment represented the culmination of Stewart's two-year journey from embittered Bush-era liberal outsider to Obama bobby-soxer to betrayed and disillusioned realist."

A long strange trip.
The vultures are circling.
Even his fans are jumping ship.
What happened to the utopian messiah who would heal the planet and turn back the rise of the oceans, who made them swoon and their legs tingle?

"Contempt for the Chicago Mafia errand boy and accomplished teleprompter reader is now a popular sport not only in Washington but around the country. He will likely go down as the most reviled puppet of the ruling elite in modern history. Another marionette awaits behind the curtain."
