I actually agree with Zero that McChyrstal showed poor judgment.

Why would any senior military officer trust a reporter from Rolling Stone? It was poor judgment to do so. We’ve seen it time and time again, where some liberal reporter convinces someone like a military commander or a conservative politician to give him full and frank access, and then turns around and eviscerates him in print.

Sometimes I wonder if these guys are so convinced of their own awesomeness, that they assume that any reporter can only be convinced of their awesomeness as well, and that they are therefore immune from being savaged by liberal reporters.

he obviously needed to resign after those statements as that is a no in military to so openly question the president, but i’m getting a good laugh watching the left in an uproar when they just loved and lived off any military or foreign leaders that disparaged bush.
