President swats fly during TV interview [Video]
Obama was being quizzed by CNBC TV correspondent John Harwood when the fly made an ill-advised beeline for the presidential brow.
The most powerful man in the world warned: "Get out of here."
But the creature, as if driven by the mother of all death wishes, carried on bugging its VIP target.
Obama did not flap but bided his time.
And when the fly landed on his left hand, he smacked it dead with the other.
Then he turned coolly to Harwood and said: "Now, where were we?" The reaction told Obama he should acknowledge the fly's fate.
