They subsidized the move and then the company refused to hire them for proper wages, hiring illegals and children.

The charges for hiring children were defeated in court. As for illegals, -huge numbers work every day by business large and small across the land. I am waiting for similar 'justice' to be meted out on them too. I expect to be waiting a very long time.

I read the transcript this of this judge posted in one of the replies. He utterly destroyed him. 27 years. Even the prosecutors didn't ask for that much. Then the townies dance a jig because the big bad Rabbi who wouldn't hire them had it coming. All of a sudden gentiles are concerned with kosher law. Right.

He made Hasidim look bad, but too many in the insular community can't see it.

Oh they see it just fine. They also recognize persecution when they see it. You and I agree on many things, but not on this one. 27 years is too long.
