I’ve used proxies occassionally when I DL by bittorrent..er, I mean, the neighbor kid says he does it when he donwloads by bittorrent. Apps like Hide My Ip works but slows your system but you can change your IP address easy. Youtube it..

actually I heard that you can configure google as a very simple proxy; What do you think of this? It might be worth a try.
