A curious non-story. Lots of interesting details, but to the best of my recollection, NASA evaluates all of the annual showers, and there are quite a few, especially when you add in the radar/radio daytime showers.
Is this part of the USA’s getting out of space exploration?
Personally I just think they’re cool.
