The American Red Cross, in its donor questionnaire, doesn’t ask if the donor is a homosexual. It does ask if the donor has practiced certain behaviors which could lead to disease transmission, e.g. giving / getting money or drugs for sex, IV drug use, and (men) having sex with other men. Their donor Web site doesn’t give the details, though.

I seem to recall that Canada got screwed with Arkansas prison blood largely contaminated with AIDS, knowingly sold to them by none other than BJ Clinton. Now the queers want to stick it to them again, lovely.

In other news, there is a billboard campaign in San Fransicko, pushing the city's packers to get screened for VD (including AIDS) every three months. (Don't know who foots the bill)

The ban was put in place in 1985 after the Canadian Red Cross, in charge of the blood supply at the time, failed to properly screen donors. The result was that thousands of Canadians were infected with HIV and hepatitis C from contaminated blood.

Unless I'm misinformed, part of the problem was that the Governor of Arkansas sold blood from inmates of the State Prison to the Red Cross.

I'd like to donate, but I was stationed in Europe for eight years. You don't see me suing anybody over it!

As is said and to carry it further declare ones own willingness to have such a transfusion. The bottom line is that the authorities have more than enough reserves of blood from non-homosexuals to use.

Once again these people cried out for the right do what they do,behind closed doors. This was granted.

A sick mentality exists with certain of them. Drunk with their own power in a frightened and politically correct atmosphere. I have no brief against someone getting on with THEIR own lives. Just leave the rest of us alone.
