Summary
You can object to the Obamunist attempt to take control of the Internet by declaring it to be a telephone service by writing an objection statement in Notepad, Word, etc., and downloading it to the FCC at http://fjallfoss.fcc.gov/ecfs2/ and clicking on "Submit a Filing", which is listed under "ECFS Main Links" in a box at the upper left part of the page. You must fill out the personal identification information boxes for your objections to be included in the public record (rather than them simply being ignored). Also, be sure to fill in "10-127" in the "Proceeding Number" box.
You can also type in your objections in a "blog" at: http://blog.broadband.gov/?entryId=508766&#comments. Again, include personal identification such as name and address, or your objections will be ignored. Also, be sure to reference "GN Docket 10-127" in your objection.

The Obamunist FCC is rapidly moving to apply the onerous regulations designed in the 1930's to regulate common carrier telephone systems to the 21st century's Internet. They are doing this because it is the only avenue even remotely open to them to take control of the Internet without additional Congressional action, which has always failed in the past.
Regulating the Internet as if it were a common telephone service would give the Obamunists total control over the Internet, with the ability to tax it, control service rates, control subscription rates, control the companies that provide the services, and to control the content. These are all things the FCC does right now to regulate telephone companies, and they wish to declare the Internet to be a telephone service so they can control it too.
Obviously declaring the Internet to be a telephone is patently absurd and illustrates the desperate extremes the Obamunists will resort to in order to control this essential and egalitarian information media that enables unfettered and ubiquitous free speech for all Americans.
It is vital that all of us take advantage of the brief public comment period regarding FCC GN Docket 10-127 to object to this power grab. This period ends on July 15, 2010, meaning the comment period is less than a month from when the NOI was published on June 17, 2010. Furthermore, despite claims to the contrary, the online features on the FCC websites for commenting on GN Docket 10-127 are not yet fully implemented, and those that are there are extremely difficult to find. Clearly, the Obamunists are desperate to avoid legitimate commentary.
Here's the FCC Notice of Inquiry for GN Docket 10-127 itself: http://hraunfoss.fcc.gov/edocs_public/attachmatch/FCC-10-114A1.pdf. You might read the dissents at the end to get some ideas on what to object to, if you don't already have words of your own to express.
Below, I've posted the commentary links I've found with information about their utility.
Please take the time to post an objection, and please link or copy and paste the information in this post to other conservative websites and news articles that allow posting of responses. It's essential that freedom-loving Americans inundate the FCC with objections about this proposal and skew the comment statistics against this Obamunist power grab. Also, it is very important to note that your objection will not be considered part of the public record if you do not provide personal identification information!
1. This is the place that would be easiest to object to GN Docket 10-127: http://fjallfoss.fcc.gov/ecfs/hotdocket/list. However, this "express" comment area does not yet include a listing for GN Docket 10-127 (surprise, surprise as Gomer Pyle use to say). However, perhaps this page will soon be updated to include GN Docket 10-127, which is why I posted the link. Also, note that this link requires you to write your objection in a local file with Word, notepad, etc. and then upload it to the FCC, rather than fill out a comment box.
2. The non-express comment link is: http://fjallfoss.fcc.gov/ecfs2/. Once you arrive at this web page, you must then click on "Submit a Filing", which is listed under "ECFS Main Links" in a box at the upper left part of the page. This link also requires you to write your objection in a local file with Word, notepad, etc. and upload it to the FCC, rather than fill out a comment box, and also requires personal identification information to be included as a matter of record. Also, be sure to fill in "10-127" in the "Proceeding Number" box.
3. As best as I can tell, this is the link for posting objections via a "blog" (http://blog.broadband.gov/?categoryId=494971), where you can directly type your objections into a text box. Once again, you must include your personal identification (name and address) information for your objections to be included in the public record. Also, be sure to reference "GN Docket 10-127" in your objection.
However, the problem is that this page does not in fact have a place to post and most links on the page are circular, pointing back to this non-posting page. Furthermore, there are apparently 3 places to post, all with extremely obscure links regarding how to actually post:
1. "Join The Discussion...": http://blog.broadband.gov/?entryId=508766&#comments
"2. Vote to Adopt the Broadband Framework Notice of Inquiry": http://blog.broadband.gov/?entryId=509180&#comments
3. "A Third-Way Legal Framework For Addressing The Comcast Dilemma": http://blog.broadband.gov/?entryId=419239&#comments
Most of the comments so far have been made to ""Join The Discussion...". This whole "blog" setup is extremely confusing and is either a product of monumental incompetence or is done deliberately to confuse people.
4. Apparently, this link can also be used to post "blog" objections as well: http://broadband.ideascale.com/a/ideafactory.do?discussionID=11271. The comment box is tiny, so cutting and pasting might be a better way to go rather than simply typing into the box. Once again, you must include your personal identification information (name and address) for your objections to be included in the public record. Also, be sure to reference "GN Docket 10-127" in your objection. (Curiously enough, however, the posting counters all show zero for this blog as of 6/19/2010 8:25 MST. so I really have no idea if this blog will be used as a matter of record.)
Please take the time to submit a formal objection to any attempt to regulate the Internet, particularly regulating it as a telephone service, which is patently absurd and simply a transparent attempt at seizing the levers of control as a means to ultimately promulgate content rules through various fabrications such as "fairness" rules. In case anyone hasn't noticed, the Internet has developed into the greatest invention in human history without government regulation. Government regulation will serve only to stifle innovation, freezing the Internet in its current form, and then twist and pervert the Internet into a political tool of oppression by the government ruling class, rather than being the greatest and most egalitarian enabler of freedom and free speech in human history.
