I didn't say he was right in this case.

That said, I do know of several of his former supporters who have abandoned him. And I hear the environmentalists are getting angrier by the day.

Professors will never abandon him (nor will the unions), but some trust fund babies (as a former Noo Yawker, I know plenty of them) are increasingly p!ssed as he damages the economy and the environment.

Dittoes on your take. Obama is nothing but an ideologue and he has surrounded himself with ideologues - that’s the way ideologues work. They don’t want anyone with executive or practical experience to get in the way of of the agenda. There’s no one in Obama’s circle that has a clue about handling real world situations. They’ve always sat in ivory towers, spewing their nonsense and raking in the dough.

Obama just wants to “be” president, not “do” president.

There’s no doubt Obama will be the nominee in 2012, but will he go the way of Carter? I think so.
