Their political analyst predicted that “A Bush Won’t Grow at the Governor’s Mansion.” Course, they also predicted that Rush Limbaugh wouldn’t last past a couple of weeks on the radio. The Spaceman and the Comical ran the entire political spectrum from Ellen Goodman to Molly Ivins.

Well, that was then -- nowadays, the Chron is much more selective; they run the spectrum from A to E now.
