Eh, there’s always a few party-crossovers in any election. Sometimes it’s because of honest differences of opinion, sometimes it’s for more cynical reasons (personal or political rivalries, or even just the expectation that the other guy will be easier to do business with).
Don’t know which is in play here, but either way, it’s basically a non-story, IMHO. The Chronicle is trying to make a routine occurence in politics into something bigger than it really it is.
The Comical isn't giving the voters a reason to vote FOR White. The people say their choice isn't based on positions.
