THE FACTS ARE THESE Ohaha's speech reeked of Rahm and Axelrod's political calculations. Some of the phrases used---the allusion to our fighting men----the Reaganesque "God Bless America"----show the WH mob had calculatedly written the speech using focus-grouped phrases intended to suck Ohaha out of the political sinkhole he's made for himself. In fact, the speech was so well-rehearsed-----even down to the orchestrated voice inflections and gestures-----that Ohaha must have channelled Lee Strassberg.

The speech was slaughtered by Chris Matthews, Keith Olbermann and Howard Fineman. Highlights of leftie thoughts on Obama's Oval Office Address on the oil spill.
Olbermann: "It was a great speech if you were on another planet for the last 57 days."
Matthews compared Obama to Carter.
Olbermann: "Nothing specific at all was said."
Matthews: "No direction."
Howard Fineman: "He wasn't specific enough."
Olbermann: "I don't think he aimed low, I don't think he aimed at all. It's startling."
Howard Fineman: Obama should be acting like a "commander-in-chief."
Matthews: Ludicrous that he keeps saying [Secretary of Energy] Chu has a Nobel prize. "I'll barf if he does it one more time."
Matthews: "A lot of meritocracy, a lot of blue ribbon talk."
Matthews: "I don't sense executive command."

Even Peggy Noonan is now abandoning Obama. She called him a “snake bit” president. I’m not sure what that means, but seems to be something like, damaged goods. Noonan says that some Democrats are now wishing they had supported Hillary.
They’re beside themselves because they know his ability to deliver on their radical agenda is slipping away with his poll numbers.
I literally gaged when I heard that Muslim pile of crap invoke the name of G-d at the end of that pathetic speech. Contrived? "You decide..."

Obama/Rahm/Axelrod/Jarrett, and the rest of the "progressive" nutjobs are purposefully antagonizing large groups in middle America, goading us into civil unrest. This would give them an excuse to declare Martial Law. Obama gave ACORN $$billions to form Civilian Security reeducation camps.
Americans need to be very vigilant: Obama and his loathsome WH staff are very calculated in their use of power. As dissent among the populace grows, they are capable of plotting staged events to boost their advantage.
If these arch-manipulators perceive there isn’t measurable fear in the hearts of the people, they will create that fear to solidify their power. They know people will succumb to fear, and will relinquish their God-given liberties when they are fearful.

OHAHA/DHS PROFILES AMERICANS--HATRED OF AMERICANS SPEWS FORTH No more proof is needed than Obama/Incompetano's profiling Americans as “rightwing extremists.”
On April 7, 2009, their hatred of Americans spewed full force as DHS' Office of Intelligence and Analysis sent out a nationwide alert to US L/E to act against "evil" conservatives. DHS identified “rightwing extremists” as a "danger" and defined “rightwing extremists” in a footnote, as follows.
OBAMA/INCOMPETANO ORDER L/E TO SUPPRESS AND DESTROY AMERICANS. EXCERPT DHS' Office of Intelligence and Analysis to L/E: "Rightwing extremism in the United States can be broadly divided into those groups, movements, and adherents that are primarily hate-oriented (based on hatred of particular religious, racial or ethnic groups), and those that are mainly antigovernment, rejecting federal authority in favor of state or local authority, or rejecting government authority entirely. It may include groups and individuals that are dedicated to a single issue, such as opposition to abortion or immigration."
DHS later said that the report was not an attempt to squash First Amendment Rights for conservatives----only "hate groups"---- but, there was NO attempt to exempt anyone from these broad generalizations. Obama/Incompetano's report paints EVERY ASPECT OF AMERICAN CONSERVATISM as "suspect."
This is indicative of a very disturbing government mindset. Obama/Incompetano's documented hatred of Americans, and their orders to L/E to surveil and supress Americans......contrasts sharply with their kid glove handling of drug lords, savages, and terrorists bent on violence and destruction.

The phrase "to gain executive branch authority" was first heard 70 years ago, or so.....part of a package called "The Enabling Acts"......although it was written in German. The Enabling Acts granted "the executive" the authority to write new laws and change old laws without oversight.

(Excerpt) Read more at whitehouse.gov. The President signed an Executive Order Jan 11 establishing a Council of Governors to strengthen further the partnership between the Federal Government and State Governments to protect our Nation against all types of hazards.
When appointed, the Council will be reviewing such matters as involving the National Guard of the various States; homeland defense; civil support; synchronization and integration of State and Federal military activities in the United States; and other matters of mutual interest pertaining to National Guard, homeland defense, and civil support activities.
The bipartisan Council will be composed of ten State Governors who will be selected by the President to serve two year terms. In selecting the Governors to the Council, the White House will solicit input from Governors and Governors’ associations. Once chosen, the Council will have no more than five members from the same party and represent the Nation as a whole. The Secretary of Defense will designate an Executive Director for the Council.
Federal members of the Council include:
the Secretary of Defense,
the Secretary of Homeland Security,
the Assistant to the President for Homeland Security and Counterterrorism,
the Assistant to the President for Intergovernmental Affairs and Public Engagement,
the Assistant Secretary of Defense for Homeland Defense and Americas’ Security Affairs,
the U.S. Northern Command Commander,
the Commandant of the Coast Guard, and,
the Chief of the National Guard Bureau.
