Yes, it is, if you go by the day-to-day numbers.

But these numbers are notoriously unstable.

Therefore, given the unreliability of the daily numbers, I put my money on the ten-day moving average. It’s still positive, now at two percent. When that number turns negative, then I’ll say the Big Ø has probably fallen into an abyss from which he can’t escape.

(And at which point Mark O’Malley surely will give us another of his great graphics!)

Yes, the Abyss number is fluid, and has been consistently positive until lately. But we’ve now experienced 3 continuous polls where the numbers have been negative. That’s a first. Hopefully, the trend will continue.

Here it shows the Abyss trend continues while his Index number drops from -21% to -20%. That would make 4 straight days the abyss number has been negative. I haven't gone to the site and downloaded the current data set, but am writing from replies given on the thread.
