This country had the ‘opportunity’ to elect Hillary to office and it chose not to. It infuriates me that Dems would give themselves the right to select a ‘do over’ president. “Gee - we voted someone incompetent into office and though we are still incompetent, we are simply just going to choose the next president because we’re afraid you won’t vote the way we want you to next time.” They elected a worthless guy - they should have to bear the consequences.

If Hillary Clinton just continues BO's policies, what's the point? Same meat, different gravy.

Keep your eyes on the old PUMA blogs and watch them--currently supporters of Sarah Palin--warm to the idea of a resurrected Hillary Clinton presidency.

I get the idea that if Biden were POTUS, he (possibly) would not continue (all) of BO's policies. Plus he seems to love this country. This means he's not considered POTUS material by the Dem kingmakers.

I think that they may want Hillary in as VP (swapping Biden out), Obama steps down and Hillary becomes pres. I think they actually....are you sitting down...actually believe she can magically turn the sinking ship around and impress the electorate enough to vote her into office (and maintain Dem dominance in congress) in 2012 and from there she could continue the Dems grand legacy (power).
The way the ship is sinking now, the Dems will be lucky if mobs don’t throw Obama and all of his supporters out before elections; for years, they will be seen as the lepers they are.
The only way they, so far, can conceive of saving the reputation of the party and it’s continued presence in office is to literally have Hillary ‘save the day’. Hillary would have less than 2 years to make the US the utopia the Dems just know the right sort of micromanagement of our lives can make it. She would be promising a ‘chicken in every pot’ to all those unemployed as the Nov. 2012 elections approached. She wouldn’t really have to ‘do’ anything successful because, like Obama, she would claim to have been ‘saddled’ with a bad situation (She’d formally blame it on Bush but it would be understood that it was really ‘The One’s’ legacy) to begin with and would need time to correct it - she’d just need more Utopian promises and she’d need to throw a few bones to the right people, with a promise of more to come. They must be THAT afraid of Palin or leper status in general.
The left has a history of believing that their ideas, like communism, will work because they thought of it - and that any obvious failure of their dreams (i.e. Soviet Union, Obama) is just an example of failed implementation.

SO - they are thrilled with every step Obama takes to dismantle our country, the country begins to falter and the populace begins to complain, they are suddenly on track to lose congress and with it - Utopia, and they want to swap the ‘right’ miracle worker in to continue implementation.

If they ‘allow’ Obama to expose the worthless underpinnings of their party’s ideas, they won’t get to try again for a long time and their ideas will have the negative reputation they deserve.
The motive behind this particular lead trial balloon is ‘big picture’; they are afraid of losing power for years with a soiled reputation and they want Hillary to sanitize and preserve their hold on power until our rights are sufficiently diminished and we are more malleable. Indefinite power.
And I think these trial balloons outline the plan for coup d’etat; we didn’t vote her into office. How dare the Dems even think of granting themselves the right to select America’s president from their own team in order to avoid the disappointments of a public election.
