I really believe this is a democrat scam to get a better nominee on board with all the free publicity. Never put anything past them.

If they did that, there might have been a chance for Greene to win, and once he gets to DC, he’ll be exposed as completely out of his league. That in turn would damage Dem credibility, which is already tottering due to another black candidate who had a shady background and was voted blindly into office. Nothing against Greene personally, but I have a feeling he would be another Cynthia McKinney were he to actually reach office.

Well, now that I've been (rightfully) spanked for that...I found this census link and no data looks like it can explain the outcome by bloc voting:

I suspect Greene will still drop out of the race for “personal reasons” or the felony rap. The Dems didn’t want to oust him now just because of Rawls’ complaint.

just wondering why do they call alvin green (d) unemployed veteran but vic rawl former state rep. Is Rawl employed?

When I heard creepy Rawl on the talk radio yesterday he said he was retired. Which means he too is unemployed. And it's looking like he's going to stay that way. Ha!

Agreed. they will find another way and nominate someone else. Maybe not even Rawls.

and instead promoted him as a war vet.

promote his service when he was kicked out of both the Air Force and the Army?

He was in the military, but in Korea - I don't believe he was ever in combat.

But of course, we are talking the demRats here - what's a little exaggeration

Did you know that John Kerry was in Viet nam?

...upholding last week's controversial win by unemployed veteran Alvin Greene (D) over former state Rep. Vic Rawl (D)...however long Greene stays as the nomineee, I hope people like Hannity, O'Reilly, Mark Levin et al give him plenty of air time - the more the public sees this kind of obviously incapable candidate as a duly elected representative of the 'rats, the better......

Debating Mr. Greene would be interesting but also very tricky for Sen. DeMint.

It's interesting with Greene debating Greene!

This was a really strange election to say the least! I would like to understand just how this fellow with an IQ of maybe 90 was not only elected, but decided to run in the first place.

Either this district is so racist that they picked him by name or there was subterfuge. Would be an interesting story either way.

I agree with you, I've been reading about AG, but can't find any info about his decision to run for senator, when & why he made that decision.

I've also not seen even ONE report about any friends commenting on him.

How much does it cost to run in SC, how many Dems were on the ticket, etc.

ALL the MSM is reporting is that there's a felony charge against him.

I wonder if some of those RE-enlistment bonuses the military has been giving, if part of the payment is withheld until you leave the military???

However, it is very peculiar that Al Greene would choose to spend TEN GRAND on a senatorial run, while living in his parents' basement.....

Are there NO neighbors, NO friends, NO other ex-mil who know Al Greene and can be interviewed?
