Nice try but logic isn’t on your side.
Reagan stated that the 1986 amnesty was to be a one-time event. Which means that in order for Dubya to ride the coat tails of Reagan he is bound by Reagan’s condition that amnesty occur just once. That precludes Dubya’s amnesty since it violates Reagan’s condition.
Dubya’s attempted amnesty, like Obama’s, contradicts Reagan’s one-time provision. A stubborn fact that doesn’t help you.

You might be able to fool yourself with thinking that Reagan didn't sign an amnesty bill, (because he had conditions) but the rest of us on this thread are on to you.
