Ummm, if people were to actually save some of their money for that so-called rainy day, this wouldn’t be happening. In my personal finance class, I teach my students to put away enough money to live off of it for 6 months in case of a job loss.

Before I started by business I went 9 months without a job. People I’m hiring right now have been unemployed for a year. I know people who have been unemployed or severely underemployed for 18 months to 2 years.
Must be nice to live in a perfect world, please tell me what its like.
