3. Made a decision to turn our vote over to the care of God as we understood Him

5. Admitted to God, to ourselves and to another human being the exact nature of our wrongful votes
6. Were entirely ready to have God remove all these defects of character that prevented us from exercising critical thinking when selecting a candidate
7. Humbly asked God to remove our shortcomings
8. Made a list of all persons Obama had harmed, and became willing to make amends to them all
9. Made direct amends to conservatives wherever possible, except when to do so would injure them or others
10. Continued to take personal inventory and when we were mindlessly considering the benefits of socialism, promptly admitted our idiocy
11. Sought through prayer and meditation to improve our conscious contact with God as we understood Him, praying only for knowledge of God's will for us and the power to carry that out
12. Having had a spiritual awakening as the result of these steps, we tried to carry this message to other ignorant voters, and to practice these principles in all our affairs

I've already made up my mind NOT to "I told you so" all the Obama voters I know with citizens' remorse.

Kind of related, perhaps you recall the political ad with Ron Howard and Andy Griffith in which the audience was ridiculed (in true Alinskyian fashion) for fearing "change". I can't find that ad anywhere. Hopefully someone saved it, because it will be entertaining, if not useful, in the elections ahead.

I do know a number of educated people who thought Obama was going to be their savior. I’d say most of them voted with their FEELINGS rather than use their heads.
