Not necessarily. The sugar daddy rumors center around his going to Harvard.
The student loan data might be restricted to Occidental and, perhaps, Columbia.
Recall that he graduated Columbia in 1983. He then spent two years working in NYC, first for Business International Corp., then New York Public Interest Research Group (sound suspicious?). He then moved to Chicago in 1985 and did duty as a community organizer in Chicago for three years before attending Harvard in 1988.
If there was a "sugar daddy", my guess would be that Obama probably came to his attention either at the public interest "research group" or back in Chicago.
Not necessarily...Barry lived off-campus during his years at Columbia, and rent in NYC was expensive, even back then. The student loans covered his educational expenses, but who paid for his apartment, utilities, groceries, etc? There’s no record of him working part-time in New York, and we know virtually nothing about his time at Columbia (those records were conveniently sealed). But someone was paying his living expenses during his undergrad days. That’s why the “Sugar Daddy” question is relevant, even at that stage of his life.
