You made my point. We are NOT governed by the Declaration of Independence, but the U.S. Constitution. Although I hold the Declaration to be almost a “sacred” document, it isn’t the basis for our current government. Those that would incite insurrection to remove a sitting POTUS are as bad as the POTUS the seek to remove. The quote avoid from the Declaration is one you should take to heart. The Obama administration is “transient” and the mechanisms exist to weaken him in 2010 (pick conservative congressmen) and to remove him in 2012.
Now if the public wants to damand his resignation...that is fine and proper - it probably will be ignored. However, once it steps beyond demands to force of arms....it has gone too far. We don’t do Coups in this Republic.
I do not think that Mr. Obama is rightfully POTUS. However, I will never support a coup in any way form or fashion. It destroys our republic/constitution and sets a terrible precedent for future generations. The only proper way for him to be removed is by impeachment in the House and trial and conviction by the Senate.
