I’m a private pilot, and that is always the fantasy isn’t it? I think every private pilot has wondered “what if” about this kind of thing.

That’s great she could help.
But it wasn’t going to mean life or death.
Either pilot is capable of safely bringing the aircraft down.
Perhaps if there were complications, help could become more critical.

You need to find a local simulator training facility and treat yourself to answering your ‘what if’ question. Some simulator training places sell ‘fantasy flights’ for folks just like you.
