I agree with your sentiment, but the fact that there have been so many screw ups in the clean up process is Obama's fault. After one week of the oil spill, Obama should have called BP's CEO and asked him what he needed to get the job done, and Obama should have then done whatever necessary to get those resources. Likewise, he should have done the same thing with the governors of each impacted state. His lack of action was pathetic.
Some have argued that Obama is protecting taxpayer dollars by insisting that BP pay for the clean up. This of course is hypocrisy. Since when did Obama care about tax payer dollars?
When the Democrat party has to spend them on things other than buying votes.
Since he figured out he could get his hands on them.
He sure could have whipped up some sort of patriotic, imaginative initiative- had he been either imaginative or a patriot.
People used to peel, clean and crush tin cans and deliver them to depots to help the war effort.
There is a vestige of that America left....
