From some of the stuff I’ve read over the years, much of the no man’s land is indian reservation that straddles the border. Seems that I read that the indians have long advocated annexing the mexican side of the reservation into America.

Well there is some presedent

That whole Gadsden Purchase thing. It was 1853 and the Mexicans felt cheated.

Now it would seem, they have 'their' land back.
