June 15, 2010 MSNBC Trashes Obama's Address: Compared To Carter, "I Don't Sense Executive Command"

Chris Matthews, Keith Olbermann and Howard Fineman react to President Obama's Oval Office Address on the oil spill. Here are the highlights of what the trio said:

Matthews compared Obama to Carter.

Olbermann: "Nothing specific at all was said."

Matthews: "No direction."

Howard Fineman: "He wasn't specific enough."

Olbermann "I don't think he aimed low, I don't think he aimed at all. It's startling."

Howard Fineman: Obama should be acting like a "commander-in-chief."

Matthews: Ludicrous that he keeps saying [Secretary of Energy] Chu has a Nobel prize. "I'll barf if he does it one more time."

Matthews: "A lot of meritocracy, a lot of blue ribbon talk."

Matthews: "I don't sense executive command."

Whoa . . . I think you’ll be getting next year’s Nobel for that one.

Sarah said more that zero did...and she sounded more presidential.

What’s it coming to when zero can’t even give a good speech anymore? He’s melting!

I'm sure this wasn't lost on the viewing audience. Obama Nobel prize was essentially granted for nothing ... only to tweak conservatives here in America and around the world. Bottom line the Nobel prize committee lost all credibility so Chu's Nobel means nothing ... the Nobel awarded in any category means nothing. The liberals that make up the Nobel committee, by politicizing the award, destroyed any prestige attached to it.

As if I needed any more reason to smile tonight, your post put the cherry on top of the whip cream. It’s a good night to be a conservative. :)

So, hey, guys! Where are we golfing tomorrow? And Thursday and Friday and Saturday? But Sunday I'll be busy watching all the news shows praising my speech.

The Cap & Tax Overlords at GE will get the MSNBC freaks back on the reservation by tomorrow morning.

It would be interesting to be a fly on the wall of the MSNBC and GE executive boardrooms tomorrow...

Putting his feet on a priceless antique; a part of America’s historical heritage. He has no class at all.

Yep, I was surprised - they were seemingly aghast at the lack of specificity.

Its sad that only now do the Obama supporters begin to notice what has been obvious to everyone else for the last three years.

Amazing. George Stephanopolus and Dianne Sawyer were comparing him to FDR in their post speech blather.

FDR was in the pre-speech talking points. David Brooks on PBS was waiting for maps to be slapped down on the desk with specific actions disclosed, a la FDR. 0's handlers set an expectation that 0 failed to meet.

Also, the first visual was of sonny boy at his too-big desk, a ridiculous sight.

Oddly, his looking at his single TOTUS reminded me of all the other times he's played head-tennis with his audience, when double TOTUS' were on duty.

I think you`re right, and those talking about Obama calling for martial law aren`t paying attention. Obama put actual effort into healthcare, which libs think is the key to their changing everything. Obama`s job is DONE. the guy was known for attending parties and little else.

He`s not looking to hold power, he`s looking forward to being an EX-president, when he`ll be praised everywhere he goes and won`t have to do anything but show up and be applauded just for being there.

Please stop putting McCains face up there. Put JD’s face up there, at first glance it looks like you are touting McCain.

Kwissy, Keithy, and Howie throw Barry under the bus.

Watershed moment.

The only MSM defenders Barry has left has is that ass clown on CNN whose first name is Roland something and the anti-Semites, anti-Zionists, and who associate themselves with the Religion of Peace which is anything but the Religion of Peace.

The shoe sole is an insult as shown by the Iraqi who beat the Hussein statue after it was torn down. I think the shoes on the desk are to insult America in it’s very heart.
