Protestant population of vast tracts of Ireland declined from 30%, to 0-5%, in the decades after the Republic was established

That figure (post 18) is over 160 years.

Yet you are unwilling to examine how large numbers of protestants came to Ireland, to rob the inhabitants of their land and enslave them.

Is that the same way that European colonists robbed the inhabitants of Northern America of their land? Or how Israelis robbed it from the Palestinians? Or arabls robbedit from Assyrians? Or Poles from Germans, or Japanese from Chinese? Or Vandals from Romans? Good grief...the Scots originally came from Ireland!

Get the idea? You can't keep fighting these battles all the time. No modern day Briton is responsible for the plantation in Ireland, or for the Drogheda massacre. And yet, I have to put up with all this BS. I don't curse all Irishmen because the IRA blew up my town's shopping centre because I know that's unfair. So let the past and its arguments go.

Fair enough. And you are unwilling to examine the moral difference (none) between yourself, and your fellow Fennians, and every other bunch of savages on the planet who say "The extreme, and unique, savageries imposed on my ancestors privilege me to murder, rape and pillage anyone whose ancestors I deem responsible for what I perceive to be the injustices done to my ancestors." Which is why the PLO, Hammas, Al-Queda, and every bunch of American hating murders on the planet are so beloved in Irish "Republican" circles. They are birds of a feather.
