You guys can't be serious. Roger is quite possibly the most loved Republican by the grassroots across the state of Texas. Don't get me wrong Michael is great; but he has no money, can't raise any money, and it takes money to win a statewide federal election in Texas. The latest reports had Michael in debt nearly $50,000. That means he doesn't have a chance. I am surprised to hear someone talk this way about Roger, if you got out around the state to local Republican clubs you would realize what a great reputation he has and that he will most likely be our next senator.

Roger is small town Bubba with money. If he would have had to enter politics in a county whose republican party wasn’t built around the concept of taking care of the good old (rich) boys, no one would have ever heard of him. I’m sure it would be quite prestigious for him to buy his way into a Senate seat. He probably won’t do as much damage as Hutchison, but he won’t really bring anything to the party.

Michael is a true statesman whose one big screw up was he didn’t inherit the only Chrysler dealership in a growing county from his father
