Not at all, but it should serve to inform you.

It is also very common on threads related to judges to advise the readers of who appointed the Judge in question. In this case the judge was appointed by President Bush, which I found surprising in view of the absurdity of the decision.

I was also curious as to how you extended this decision to be the responsibility of the current administration.

Not surprising at all. Neither of the Bushes were poster children for conservatism, despite what many people think, and neither were poster children for common sense either. Besides many court appointees prove later to be "mistakes" in rendering decisions. Either they were not properly vetted, or their opinions changed with time.

The Obama Justice Department under Holder was part of this action, no?
