One astounding fact from my county in CT, (Middlesex) 23 people with an average income of $551,000 moved to Cook County, IL. They have to be idiots. Taxes alone will keep me from ever moving back to Chicago/Cook County.
One thing to note, this in 2008. My county (CT-New London) shows a net migration IN from Michigan. Why? Well Pfizer had closed their R&D site there and gave emps the option of leaving the company or moving to CT.
